Memorial Hospital invites the community to the National Day of Dance for Your Health on Saturday, February 25. Over 75,000 people, nationwide, will join together with Spirit of Women Hospitals across the country, to take a stand against heart disease! The event encourages community members of all ages to get up and move while participating in Zumba, Jump Rope, Martial Arts, and much more, along with health screenings and consumer education on heart disease and other important health topics. A FREE bounce house will be provided for the children as well as a FREE HEALTHY BRUNCH!

Date: March 1, 2012 Hours: 4-7pm Location: Greensburg Community Bread of Life Cost: $8-full $5-half The Greensburg Community Bread of Life will be having its annual Turkey Noodle Dinner fundraiser on Thursday, March 1st from 4-7pm. Tickets go on sale Feb 6th and maybe purchased at the Bread of Life, The Greensburg - Decatur County Public Library, Doerflinger Insurance, and Napoleon State Bank. Cost of tickets are $8 for full portion and $5 for half portion. The dinner will include Turkey and Noodles, Green Beans, Yeast Roll, and apple pie -- all homemade!!!!

PKC Walker Days
Date: May 7-13, 2012 Starting off the first three nights, Monday-Wednesday they will be holding what they call "Warm Ups". These events are for local contestants living within a few hundred miles of Greensburg as well as out of state hunters
coming in early for the large events taking place later on in the week.
Thursday night will be the first big night showcasing the PKC National Top Twenty-Four Treeing Walker Invitational. Greensburg will be hosts to competitors who previously qualified and are invited from all over the United States. Here is the breakdown: 2- Alabama; 3- Georgia; 1- Illinois; 1- Louisiana; 1- Michigan; 2- Missouri; 3- Mississippi; 4- North Carolina; 1- Ohio; 1- Oklahoma; 1- Pennsylvania; 1- South Carolina; 2- Tennessee; 1- West Virginia. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will offer huge events open to all with awesome cash prizes for the winners. Relay for Life
Date: May 18 & 19, 2012 Location: Decatur Fair Grounds Where people come together and raise money for people fighting against cancer. Everyone walks 1 hour after they have collected money. There is food and music.

Blues, Groves and Spirits

Food, spirits, music, entertainment and more. Come out and stroll the orchard grounds or bring lawn chairs, listen to the music, taste Indiana wines and craft beers, then buy your favorite; and check out local artisan displays.
Musical lineup includes: 4pm Top Hat Blues Revue; 5:30 pm Below Zero Blues Band; 7 pm G. Busy; 8:30 pm Chuck Land Band; and 10 pm Big Bill Morganfield.
