4th Annual Master Harold's Downtown Greensburg Fiddlefest Set

Greensburg, IN -- Downtown Greensburg will again come alive to the toe-tapping sounds of fiddle music during the 4th annual Master Harold's Downtown Greensburg Fiddlefest, June 27-28, 2008.

Traditionally, the contest which runs all day Saturday draws some of the top fiddlers across the country including musicians who play with top artists like Clint Black. They will compete for more than $4,000 in prize money. One of the more entertaining aspects of the competition is the Gambler's Draw. The judges write down the names of songs and put them in the hat. Fiddlers draw a song and then play it. If they play the right song they advance to the next round. If not, they sit down and the next fiddler in line gets to play the song. The elimination continues until one fiddler remains standing.

Arts and crasfts vendors will be set up on the courthouse lawn both days and food vendors will be available. For vendor information call 812-222-DGDC and leave a message requesting vendor information. 2008 vendors will have the opportunity to book both the Fiddlefest and Car Show at one reduced price.

Entertainment will be offered both Friday and Saturday night.
