On April 8th, 2024, Greensburg, Indiana found itself fortunate to lie within the path of totality during the Total Solar Eclipse. Festivities spanned across Decatur County to mark this extraordinary occurrence, drawing together the community and attracting visitors from various locations around the country.
Decatur County was one of many counties in the path of totality in Indiana, experiencing totality for 3 minutes & 30 seconds.
